Enterprise mobility in the financial sector

Tablets in the hands of bank consultants have become a common phenomenon in Russia. On average, the introduction of tablets increases sales of banking services by 20-25%. Today, other financial organizations are also beginning to use mobile devices for customer service. For example, insurance agents make presentations and conclude contracts in the field. Investment consultants demonstrate the dynamics of quotations and the market situation in charts and diagrams. Mobile solutions are also in demand in government agencies. Employees of the tax inspectorate can check primary accounting documents, purchase and sales books, invoices, get access to corporate mail and counterparty’s card.

The device is designed for a hybrid format of use: as a classic tablet and, when installed in a specialized cradle with connected monitor, mouse and keyboard, as a standard stationary workstation. It is important that the operating system Astra Linux 4.7 provides the transition from the mobile mode, adapted for finger or stylus control, to the stationary mode (for mouse control) in two clicks. That is, an employee does not need to buy two devices (for the office and for trips), just a tablet with the necessary set of accessories, and all the usual programs and data will always be at hand.

MIG LT11i features native Linux support, which ensures seamless integration of the corporate tablet into the customer’s infrastructure. The operating system Astra Linux Special Edition 4.7 is installed without using AOSP — open source code Android, the tablet has a possibility of hardware locking of cameras and microphone. Thus, the device is protected from the risks associated with sanctions restrictions and licensing. As well as from possible channels of data leakage through undeclared technical capabilities.
